South Bohemia has something to offer to every one. The variety of this region enables you to take up the sport and other activities. There are 200km of well marked tourist routes for walkers from the beginners up to the most advanced experienced ones. Exploring the local area is well worth the effort which will award you with breathtaking views and an absolute freedom on your journey through this amazing wild landscape.

Use a mountain bike (available for hire) to explore the magnificence of this historical region or to take in the beautiful landscape of the Sumava Nature Reserve Park.

There are 200 km of well-marked tourist trails for cyclists ranging from beginners level to the most advanced, aimed at experienced people looking for a bit of an adrenalin shot.

One of the popular local sporting activities is in-line skating. Paths for skaters have been specifically built through the greenery and are well-maintained.

Rafting and canoeing for individuals or groups can be arranged. An experienced coach is available to guide those who would like to try these sporting activities for the first time.

There are many options for cruising on the lake Lipno – from a boat party with music, to a quiet romantic meal on the boat. Sightseeing trips can also be arranged.

An 18-hole golf course set in a hilly natural landscape is available about 7 km away. Hotel guests receive a discount on the course fee. All necessary golf equipment can be hired locally.

A ski bus service is available from the hotel to the ski resort which is approx. 7 km away. Six ski runs with a total length of 5,5 km will satisfy beginners as well as experienced skiers. You will also find there a ski school for kids.

Due to the fact that the hotel is near the border with Austria you can also go skiing to some of the austrian resorts.

There are also many routes for land crossers. In winter it is possible to cross and ice-skate on ice-covered surface of the Lipno lake.

Horse riding can be arranged locally.

7 km far from the hotel there is a bob-sleighing route which is open every day during the whole year.

Try target-shooting using a pistol, airgun or even Kalashnikov in a nearby shooting range. Gun licence is not necessary.

Kids will love the Water Park Marina, which is about 7 km away. Among a lot of fun facilities you will find wild river, whirlpool, massage swimming pool or Finnish sauna.

Lake Lipno is a heaven for fishermen. Fishing permits can be obtained locally. There are plenty of fish sorts, the most famous are pikes and zanders.
